The Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous is a collection of elegant and sophisticated watches dedicated to women. Showcasing the Swiss watch brand’s own Metiers Rares or rare handcrafts, we get to see the finer details of gem setting, and decorative arts, accompanied with miniature marvels on exquisite cases.

While Jaeger LeCoultre has been releasing ladies’ watches in the past, much like in the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso collection, it wasn’t until the Rendez-Vous collection that the brand was able to really craft more elaborate feminine designs.

Featuring a blue sunray-brushed dial and blue alligator strap, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Classic Night and Day Ref. Q3448480, is an equally radiant and mysterious 34mm automatic stainless steel watch priced at $14,600 USD. The silver-toned hands and hour markers are showcased beautifully on the blue dial. On the semicircular opening within the dial, you have another intricate day/night indicator showing the passing of the day in silver sun and moon symbols. From the Jewellery line, the Dazzling Night and Day Ref. 3432570 and Ref. 343357 are bejewelled with 186 set diamonds and come in pink gold and white gold cases. History Behind the Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Collection

Jaeger LeCoultre or JLC, founded by Charles Antoine Le Coultre and Francois Ulysse LeCoultre in 1833, is one of the first watch brands that catered to women. Because this specific market didn’t regard watches as a timekeeping tool but rather as an accessory, JLC watches catered to women had more gems. This gave JLC more opportunity to play with rich details and more decorative engravings. 

A hundred years after creating the first ladies’ watch from the brand, the company again to build on the tradition created another set of stunning watches for the ladies, coming up with “Rendez-Vous” to name the collection.
