Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
I groaned, reaching a hand out from under my blanket and slapped the button on top of my alarm. With a heavy groan I pulled myself out from the covers and staggered over to the bathroom. Another dull, boring, tedious day, I thought to myself as I looked in the mirror.
My eyes went wide.
I felt the long brown hair that fell past my shoulders. I raised a hand to my smooth hairless cheeks. And I placed a hand on my breasts.
"No... no way..."
I turned on my heel and hurried out of the bathroom, clad in just my boxers shorts as I began to bang on my sister's door.
"April! April, wake up!" I yelled.
"Urgh, Sam..." I heard her groan as she got out of bed, opening the door. "What is it?"
"I'm... I'm a girl!"
Silence filled the hallway as she stared at me for several seconds. Then she finally spoke.
"Yes, Sam. I know you're a girl. Just like you have been the past 16 years."
"Just making sure you still know."
I smiled and placed my hands behind my back, sauntering back to my room.
"Do you HAVE to do this every morning!?" I heard her shriek as she slammed the door and went back to bed. I giggled to myself.
